The port of Tampico offers in its public terminals, 11 dockage positions of 2,140.55 linear meter (lm) and specialized equipment for handling a great variety of merchandise, including general cargo, mining and agricultural products in bulk, containers and oversized cargo.

The depth of the navigation canal, varies according to the needs of each terminal, in the public terminals the depth of the draft varies between 35 to 37 feet.

Docks 1 to 9 (1586 m.)

Nine docks located on the 14th km form a dockage front that handles different types of general cargo and containers, specially steel sheet coils, wood, minerals in bulk, and trucks among others.

Docks 10 - 11 (576 m.)

Located on the 9th km, these docks represent two dockage positions especially used for wood, oversized structures, molasses, steel products, among others.
